Fallopian Tube Cancer

Affects the duct (tube) that carries eggs from ovaries to uterus.

Very rare, accounting for 1-2% of gynecologic cancers.

Treatment involves surgically removing uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

Sometimes, ovarian cancer occurs in the fallopian tubes.

Forms in the tissue covering the fallopian tubes and can spread to the ovary.
